Being Judged

Picture: http://www.soxfirst.com/50226711/kpmg_judge_attacks_us_government.php

Who has the right to judge us?
The moment we are born we are checked, inspected and judged… are we tall or heavy enough, do we eat enough, sleep enough… burp enough…are we following the developmental mile stones...
We get to school and we are judged based on our behavior in class, our grades, how well we participate and are active, what clubs we join or how popular and fit we are.
We start work and we are not only judged based on our achievements and experience or how well we interview, but also our character and how well we work with others…how ambitious and driven... how we act, carry and present ourselves.
And on a massive scale.... The world (or a higher power) would judge us on whether or not we gave back all the blessings she showered upon us... would you consider Karma a form of judging?

So who does NOT judge us in this life? ..... hmmmmm... makes you think doesn't it?

Despite having so many judges, I think the best judge of our character and our deeds is ourselves... we are our best critics... and best supporters...

Whether other peoples' judgments are important to us or not would not really matter at the end of the day if we did not give it that much attention... because whatever they say will not make a difference unless we WANT it to....

I mean if we wanted what they said to bring us down, then it will... and if we wanted it to pump and raise us high, then it will.... If WE wanted to learn from their criticisms and improve upon ourselves... then we will....and if we thought they were being too harsh then we would just ignore the 'advice'....

Whatever WE make of judgments is the important thing, you see...
We live our lives according to how we judge ourselves....
so maybe we should encourage, believe and love ourselves more.

Just a thought!

And remember this quote when you hear someone judging you:
"We can never judge the lives of others, because each person knows only their own pain and  renunciation. It's one thing to feel that you are on the right path, but it's another to think that yours is the only path."
